MDT hosts online meeting about Noxon bridge project

The Montana Department of Transportation is in the early stages of evaluating the Montana 200 bridge located two miles south of Noxon over the Montana Rail Link tracks.

The department is inviting the public to an online open house and live question and answer session to learn more about the project and provide input.

The online open house with a live Q&A sessions will be held from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, and from noon-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.

Both sessions will present the same information. Visit www.mdt.mt.gov/pubinvolve/mt200bridge to register for the open house and live Q&A session. For those unable to attend the open house and live Q&A session, the recorded online session and an online survey will be posted on the project website starting Thursday, Oct. 22. Comments will be accepted through November 1.

“Results of the bridge evaluations and recommended repair options will be presented during the online open house,” said Terry Voeller, P.E., MDT Consultant Design Engineer. “Public input is important in the success of the project.”
