Mineral County Relay for Life begins June 28
Mineral County’s 2013 Relay For Life event takes place Friday evening to Saturday morning, June 28-29, at the Superior High School Track. The Opening Ceremony for the over-night event begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. New this year, a Flame of Hope will be lit during the Opening Ceremony and light the night throughout the event.

FWP urges the public not to pick-up deer fawns, even if they appear sick or in need of help. Often, the adult deer is close by, or will be returning to its fawn soon. Left alone, a fawn might have a chance in the wild; but once it is picked up and picks up human scent, it is more likely to be abandoned.
