Students at St. Regis are stepping out on the greens this week as the second week of golf practice got underway. With Coach Dan Park nearby to offer advice and strategy, students were driving their balls down the fairway, after teeing off, all while trying to avoid the rough to guide their balls to the putting green where with a light tap, or putt, they finally hoped to put the ball in the hole and call it a game.

Marion Wrightsman, 90, as good of a husband, father and friend as anyone could ever have or want, passed from this earth from natural causes on March 19th at the Clark Fork Valley Long Term Care facility in Plains.

Whomever ventured into baking these tasty delights were always met by enthusiastic shoppers who scramble to buy them up before they were gone,” shares Katrina Wright, market coordinator. “So we’ve decided to celebrate the end of a great season, the incoming of fall and this wonderful baked good at the final day of the 2009 market.”
Seventeen little guy wrestlers headed to state this weekend
The little guy wrestlers from Superior had a huge weekend in Libby at the Unit 2 Valley Tournament. Coach Charlie Crabb said that they ended up in third place in the small team rankings, which proved to be "a lot better than I thought we would do." Crabb said he felt the kids had a good tournament.
