Woodard sentenced to 55 years
Michael John Woodard, who pled guilty to deliberate homicide August 24 for killing his ex-wife Kelly Dube-Woodard, has been sentenced in Mineral County District Court Wednesday by District Court Judge Karen Townsend.

It took Superior resident Mary Ippisch nearly thirty years along with loads of encouragement to take a homemade creation and turn it into a product worth selling.
Mountain lion and company
Barbara Steward and Jim Moellman pose with the phantom mountain lion, which Moellman shot with the game warden's permission Saturday after the animal kept coming onto the Steward's porch. The animal measured 6 foot 8 inches long and was assumed to be around 4 years old.

Her favorite painting
Melinda Via of Thompson Falls holds one of her eight acrylic Americana-style painting prints. Titled, "Christmas on Main Street," this painting is Via's personal favorite and depicts a Christmas-time Thompson Falls in period turn-of-the-20th-century attire.

Cuddy's Ford truck after the accident with a semi-truck. Cuddy suffered severe injuries from the event but is recovering.
