Wake up before it's too late

| December 19, 2007 12:00 AM

"Feds envision energy corridors on public lands" (Associated Press, 11-16-07).

So, now we are going to allow the sell out of the entire United States of America in the sacred name of energy, and sell out it certainly is.

The plan allows for a "dramatic increase in infrastructure."

That's not only widening existing highways to accommodate more power lines and gas lines, but building new ones through national parks and wilderness areas across connecting private lands.

Sounds like the fabled "house by the side of the road" occupied by a friend of man will be replaced by a transmission tower, which nobody loves.

This 6.000 miles of expanded highway sounds suspiciously like a larger, more invasive version of the infamous NAFTA Road.

It's more private property stolen through eminent domain; it's more of our infrastructure sold out to foreign investors.

Doesn't anyone care except the environmentalists?

Wake up, America!

When the feds knock on your doors with those eviction notices, it will be too late!
