Sanders County Search and Rescue Team meets on the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the search and rescue barn next to Thompson Falls High School's football field.

Plainly Speaking Toastmasters of Plains meets every Thursday at the Home Economics Room at the Plains High School at 7 p.m.

The public is invited to attend. The schedule is as follows:

Sanders County Council for the Arts meets on the second Monday of each month at First Security Bank at 10 a.m.

The junior Girl Scouts of Troop 485 in Plains meet on the second and fourth Friday of each month from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Plains School cafeteria. For more information, call Polly Gill at 826-0044.

Citizens Against Drug & Alcohol Abuse (CADAA) holds its meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at the First Security Bank, 510 West Railroad Avenue, Plains.

VFW Post 3596 Auxiliary will meet on the second Monday at 3 p.m. and fourth Monday at 7 p.m.

Bobbie Demmer holds a free tatting (lace stitching and knotting) sessions each Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at her home at 744 Prospect Creek Road (Thompson Pass Road).
