During the Plains-Loyola duals, Goodwin was ahead 5-2 when he pinned Kevin Berland of Loyola in 41 seconds. The remaining Ram wins for Plains-Hot Springs were the result of forfeits. Goodwin later grabbed a pin in 43 seconds during an exhibition match against Ram Alex Ward, who normally wrestles in the 160-pound class.

Caplen Weare of the Red Devils was ahead 7-6 when he pinned Berland in 5:30 in the 160-pound class. In exhibition matches between Noxon and Loyola, Adam Moore of the 145-pound class pinned Berland in 1:52. He also won an exhibition match with a 3:45 pin against Cordier.
