Joyce D. Laws

Joyce D. Laws age 74 of Paradise Mont., passed away on Monday June 2, 2008 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

She was born February 14, 1934 in Centralia, Wash., a daughter of Herbert and Violet Warter.

She was raised and educated in Centralia and graduated from High School. Joyce married Ronald A. Laws on Sept. 6, 1954 and was a loving wife for over 53 years.

She attended and graduated from Tacoma General School of Nursing in 1955 and was a Registered Nurse during her lifetime. She worked for over 25 years at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Wash.

And after moving to Paradise Mont., in 1985 on the Flathead River worked for the next 10 years at the Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains.

Joyce was dedicated and loved her whole family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting antique glass, gardening, and was an avid sports fan.

She is now survived by her loving husband of 53 years Ronald A. Laws at the family home in Paradise, two sons Randy A. (Tammy) Laws of Florence, and Michael D. (Paige) Laws of Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren Nicole M. Laws of Florence, Mont.; Madison L. Laws of Spokane, Wash., and Hailey K. Laws of Spokane, Wash; and an Aunt Sylvia Pacquin of Auburn, Wash.

At her request no services will be held. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory.
