Jim Elliott listens

I first met Jim Elliott last May. After introducing himself, he asked me if I had any concerns. I did. The property tax on my business property had nearly doubled between 2006 and 2007 and while we had made some improvements to the property, we could not figure out why it had increased so much. Jim took down my name and told me he would find out for me. A week later, Jim came to my house, helped me fill out the proper form and told me who to send it to. Jim even came to the appointment we had with the Department of Revenue. It turned out that an error had been made and our property tax will be reduced.

I was very impressed not only with Jim’s willingness to listen to my concerns, but also with how he went out of his way to help me. I feel these qualities are important to consider when choosing our Representative to Helena and are why I am supporting Jim Elliott for House District 13 on November 4.
