Viola Erva Perkins

HOT SPRINGS — Viola Erva Perkins, 95, died Wednesday Sept. 10 at Evergreen Hot Springs Care Center.

She was born June 6, 1913 in Eureka to Frank and Tryphena Johnson Jones. She lived many years in Hot Springs and will be remembered by everyone as a kind and loving lady that enjoyed sending cards¬Ýto everyone in the community.

Her home was a place of comfort to the school friends of her children and they could always rely on a treat.

She was a collector of music boxes and had over 200 in her collection. She was also a member of the Hot Springs Presbyterian Church and the Grange.

She is preceeded in death by her husband Charles, and son Joe.

She is survived by her Daughter-in-law Linda (Herbert) Holdorf of Missoula; four grandchildren, Richard Perkins of San Diego, Calif.; Katherine Jo Perkins of Missoula; Shari M. Perkins of Portland, Ore.; Brian (Bechy) Holdorf of Missoula; two greatgrandchildren, Troy and Sydney.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. at the Hot Springs Presbyterian Church with burial following in Murray Memorial Cemetery in Lonepine. A pot luck luncheon was provided by the Presbyterian Womens Club at the church.

Sunset Hills Funeral Home in Plains are entrusted with the arrangements.
