The Wildhorse Plains Backcountry Horsemen meet the second Monday of each month at First Security Bank. Any questions should be directed to Terry Collins at 826-5595.

The Plains Lions Club meets the first and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at Benji’s.

The St. Regis Community Council will sponsor an Easter egg hunt on Saturday April 11.

The Plains Lions Club will sponsor and Easter Egg Hunt Sunday April 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Fred Young Park.

The Hot Springs Artists Society will host a opening reception of “Life Sketches” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at On the wall Gallery on Wall Street.  “Life Sketches” are exciting life drawings by local artists, opening April 3 and running until the end of the month.

HealthTalk Seminars will be offered  Saturday April 4 at First Security Bankin Plains. 10:00 a.m. will be a lecture and from 0:30 a.m.to noon a clinic with free sample sessions will be offered. The same will take place later that afternoon at the Thompson Falls Community Centerin Thompson Falls. 2:30 p.m: Lecture 3:00-4:30pm: Clinic (free sample sessions)

The Plains-Paradise Players will be hosting their 15th annual spring play, the Wizard of Oz, at the Paradise Grade School gym. The performance dates are April 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. The performance is being put on to honor the 70th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz. Anyone with any questions should contact Ruth Winkler at 826-5729.

Sanders County Arts Council announces the opening of the spring “Art on the Walls” exhibit at Clark Fork Valley Hospital Wednesday April 1.The opening reception is from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the hospital lobby. For more information, contact Gayle Keeney at 826-4588.

The Plains Trap Club will host a turkey shoot April 4 and summer league sign-up will begin April 14.
