Sanders County 4-H sewers gathered in Thompson Falls on Sunday, April 26, for the 2009 Fashion Revue and Patchwork Parade.

This is the third year the event has been held in conjunction with the Flat Iron Quilt Guilds Quilt Show.

Ten members from clubs across the county proudly modeled their recent fashion creations, and displayed their quilts to an admiring crowd of family and friends.

Mariah Naegeli of the Whitepine Happy Workers received the first place award and a blue ribbon in the Fashion Revue senior division, with a blue sport jacket.

She wanted something similar to her running pullovers, but in a pattern she could make herself.

The jacket has serger finished seams, a zip front neck and added decorative stitching.

Mariah has the opportunity to represent Sanders County in the State 4-H Fashion Revue to be held on the Montana State University campus in Bozeman in July.

Runner up in the senior division was Darcy Ryan of the South Side Sparks with a summer dress in blue with white polka dots and a half jacket.

The first place award and a purple ribbon in the junior division Fashion Revue were awarded to Kaitlyn Havens of the Trout Creek Mavericks.

Kaitlyn modeled a high waisted purple dress with flowers and butterflies. She spent two weeks working on her project and spent $15.
