A Hot Springs man will likely face several criminal  counts after leading Missoula County Sheriff’s officers on a highspeed highway pursuit.

The 24-year-old faces charges of resisting arrest, eluding an officer, a DUI and driving with a revoked drivers license.

Officers received a report of a drunk driver at the Wye in Missoula at about 1 a.m. Saturday. When officers attempted to pull the suspect over, he fled in his car.

Sergeant Robert Kennedy, of the Missoula County Sheriff’s Department, says the suspect led officers on a pursuit from mile marker nine until mile marker 11, reaching speeds in excess of 70 miles per hour.
