The Wildhorse Plains Backcountry Horsemen meet the second Monday of each month at First Security Bank.  Any questions should be directed to Terry Collins at 826-5595.

The Plains Lions Club meets the first and third Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at Benji’s.

VFW Post 3596 Auxiliary meets the second Monday at 4 p.m.

The Dixon Senior Center serves dinner meals Monday at 5 p.m. and Thursday at noon. Breakfast is served Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Toastmasters meet every Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Home Economics room at Plains High School. Visitors are welcome.

Sanders County Council for the Arts meets on the second Friday of each month at First Security Bank at 10 a.m.

The Farmer’s Market in Plains will run every Saturday at the elementary school.

The annual Fly-In Breakfast is Plains June 20.

The Plains-Paradise Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will be Saturday June 27 at the Wildhorse Plains Golf Course.  Contact a chamber member for more info on how to register.

The Thompson Falls Chamber of Commerce presents David Thompson Days July 4 with a community rendezvous in the Rose Garden, a parade on Main Street, a camp re-enactment, food and fun.
