Motorcycle accident kills one, injures another

A one-vehicle motocycle accident Friday evening claimed the life of Plains resident Paul Farrar, 74 and sent his wife Janet to the hospital with multple injuries.
The couple was traveling on Montana Highway 200 between Plains and Paradise when Farrar’s motorcyle left the road.
According to Montana Highway Patrol, the accident occured at milepost 81.4 at approximately 7 p.m.
The bike landed on the right side of the road and became tangled in barbwire.
Crews from the Plains-Paradise Rural Fire Department responded to the scene along with EMS ambulance personnel who transported Mrs. Farrar to Clark Fork Valley Hospital.
Farrar was pronounced dead on the scene by rescue crews.
