Summer reading programs launches in Plains

“Be Creative @ Your Library” this summer at the will be the summer reading program offered at the Plains Public Library.

Come explore the worlds of music, dance, art, books, and more.

The 2009 Family Summer Reading Program is open to young and old alike.

Family members can read to the little ones and both receive credit for the time reading.

You just need to come into the library and sign-up to join in the fun.

The program will be June 15 to August 5.

For every 4 hours of reading you will receive a cookie coupon good at the local Subway restaurant and chances to win other prizes.

There will be a party on August 5 to celebrate the ending of the program for all participants.

The prizes and certificates will be given out during the party.
