Community theater returns

Comedy, drama and old fashioned melodrama return to the area with the reprise of a local community theater group. Area actors will open this first season with the upcoming production of The Prisoner of Second Avenue by award winning author Neil Simon (produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc.)

Presented by the Thompson Falls Community Theater on Friday, Saturday, Sunday Oct. 9, 10, 11 and October 16, 17, 18 in the Thompson Falls Junior High Auditorium. Friday and Saturday night performances begin at 7:00pm and Sunday performances are Matinee Only beginning at 2:00 pm.

Cast members include actors from both Thompson Falls and Plains. Jack Grimm, Connie Grimm and Joyce Flower from Plains join Jo Moore, Elizabeth Babcock, Janis Wiswell, Deb Oliver and Dave Oliver from Thompson Falls to fill the cast line-up of hilarious characters in this comedy. Producer/Director Ray Schaefer and Assistant Director Judy Schaefer are coordinating this production.

Tickets will be available from any cast member and at the artist coop, CREATIVITY UNLIMITED 301 Main St. in Thompson Falls. Reservations at presale prices can be made by calling 826-6567 (tickets must be picked up by 6:45 pm at the door).
