Bobcat golfers swing into Plains

The Superior boys found themselves in ninth place overall behind rival St. Regis at the golf tournament last Thursday in Bigfork. St. Regis took eighth place with a total of 443, the Bobcats falling short with a combined score of 468.

Trevor Bailey swung a 54 and 44 for a combined total of 98. Daylon Kuhl swung a 56 and 58 for a total of 114 for the day. Ted Rowden with a 126, having two rounds of 69 and 57. Finally, Jake Bauer ended with 130, 71 and 59.

Superior golfer Tamara Rennick found herself in the top ten standings in the girls' field of competition. She took seventh place overall with an overall score of 105, hitting 53 and 52 during her rounds. Whitney Lapinski went 61 and 63 managing a combined score of 124.

Rennick also found herself in the top ten standings at the Plains golf tournament on Saturday, April 17. She ended up in fifth place with a overall score of 101.

The Superior golfers will play close to home in St. Regis on May 6. Up next though, they will travel to Thompson Falls on April 24.
