Things to consider when casting your vote

The big question of the days is "who gets my vote? Who do I support?"

A question that certainly deserves one's utmost research and time. It is truly awesome when candidates stay tuned on the issues at hand and leave the political back-biting alone. It has been an enjoyable time getting to know and understand Billy Hill's stand on the issues that we are presently concerned with.

His respect in our home was so evident, as he showed document after document, testifying to us that what he stands for is truly the rights of every citizen in Sanders County.

He understands who the enemy is, and through personal confrontations with a runaway government, understands the application of the Constitution in maintaining the rule of law.

Liberty is a commodity that few of us really understand. We the people have been asleep as the powers to be have little by little encircled us with the chains of bondage. It is said that "None are more hopelessly enslaved then those who falsely believe they are free." Billy Hill not only understands this, but is a conditioned warrior, with the knowledge, courage, integrity, and the determination that will stand head on in defending all of the inalienable rights, given to us by our Creator God, and secured by the Constitution.

I finish my comments with a quote by Abraham Lincoln "At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it?"

Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step across the ocean and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia, and Africa combined, with all the treasures of the earth(our own expected) in the military chest, with Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of 1000 years.

At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected?

I answer, if it even reaches us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher.

As a nation of free men, we must live through all time or die by suicide.

Have we lost sight of what a "nation of free men" really means?

I pray not, and in my opinion the man, Billy Hill, has not lost the vision of what a free nation means or requires.

He has my family's vote.
