Little guys hit first qualifier for state
Many little guy wrestlers from Plains / Hot Springs qualified for the Unit 1 Intervalley Meet at Libby this weekend highlighted by Dane Martin, Anthony Neal and Aaron Collins who all should place at state along with Russell Kujala who is undefeated this year and Logan Goodwin who has only lost one match.

Warren Wood and Caleb Connolly also placed first at the meet for the co-op.
"These kids did really good this weekend," says Coach Jerry Marjerrison. "They wrestled really tough."

The Thompson Falls wrestled little guys wrestled extremely well at the Eureka this weekend prompting eighth grader Lucas Gruwell to be extremely proud of his team.
"Our team does awesome at this meet. It's at the next one where it gets harder," says Gruwell.
The meet was highlighted by several wrestlers who won and should place at state including: Jake Nygaard, Wade Gascon, Tyler Garrison, Chase Miller and Gruwell. Also Cody Garrison at the novice level is wrestling very well.
