Trees donated to Elementary School

On May 12th, the Superior Elementary Student Council traveled to Plains for two nursery tours conducted by Mendy Estill of Lawyer Nursery and Della Garrison of Lynch Creek Nursery.

We would like to thank these awesome ladies for their time and expertise in teaching us about planting.
We are also very grateful for the donation of 25 trees from Lawyers Nursery and for the pansies and pumpkins given to us by Lynch Creek Nursery.
We had a great fieldtrip (as well as the lunch at Subway, which rocks!) and are fortunate to live so close to such wonderful nurseries. The donated trees will be planted as a part of the Student Council's Arbor Day service learning project to beautify our playground.
