Dinner and auction to help fund the Camas Prairie School

| November 26, 2010 12:42 PM

Anyone who has traveled through the beautiful Camas Prairie Valley has had the opportunity to admire the Camas Prairie School and Gymnasium. Even though the school is no longer in operation, there are big plans for the future of the institution.

The Camas Prairie Community is working toward taking over the ownership and maintenence of the Camas Prairie School. The school represents a lot of history and memories and we hope to preserve it as a community center for all to use and enjoy.

In pursuing this goal, we invite everyone to join us on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. in the gymnasium for a spaghetti feed and silent auction. You can anticipate great food, a great time and lots of valuable and useful items to bid on.

The cost will be $5 per person or $20 per family. All proceeds will go toward the upkeep of the school.

If you cannot attend, a donation would be greatly appreciated. For more information, contact Dale Neiman at 1 (406) 741-7400, 250 Camas Creek Road, Plains, MT 59859. Hope to see you there.
