Trotters lose two
The Plains Trotters fell twice at home, 0-3, to Mission on Thursday and Eureka on Saturday, last week.
Versus St. Ignatius on Thursday, the Trotters fell 25-15, 25-15, 25-16 in a District 7-B match.
Mission’s strong offensive attack proved to be too much for Plains, as they out-killed the Trotters 37-16.
Kayla Revier floored five kills, and Kelsey Beagley rounded up 18 digs for Plains. Hannah Powell set seven assits, Ashley Thompson served up six aces in the loss.
Senior libero Mackenzie Trudeau led the Lady Bulldogs with 10 digs while adding two aces, and senior middle hitter Adessa Durglo contributed six kills.
By defeating Plains 25-16, 25-19, 25-18, the visiting Spikers (8-2 conf., 10-5 ovr.) are guaranteed at least a tie of the District 7-B regular-season title for the eighth-straight time.
Cassidy Morgan, Tasha Mikita and Selene Elster each had 10 kills as Eureka’s balanced attack overpowered Plains.

The Trotters will face Superior on Thursday for Plains Senior Night, and Bigfork on the road on Friday in their last week of regular season play.
