Lady Panthers lose two on the road
Alberton dropped a pair of matches on the road this week, first at Lincoln, 3-1, and later, 3-0, at Drummond.
On Thursday versus Lincoln, the 3-6 conf., 5-6 ovr. Lynx rolled to a 25-12, 25-16, 24-26, 25-16 win in a District 9-C matchup.
Jenna Rausch and Dani Hanley each had four kills to lead the Panthers. Mariah Turnbull added seven digs and four aces, while Michelle Korman piled on 10 aces in the loss.
For the Lynx, Annah Gardener collected eight kills and four aces. Katie Menard contriuted six kills and Loni Brady added five digs for Lincoln.
Versus Drummond, the Panthers fell in straight sets, 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.
Leading the Trojans, Jenna Rausch had three kills, Ryan Vicek added 15 digs and three aces to lead Alberton. Kristi Rimmer six assists. Mariah Turnbull and Vicek had three aces each.
At Drummond, Ayla Martell floored a match-high 12 kills to lead the Trojans to a District 9-C win over the Panthers.
Ashley Mannix and Emilie Angelo each added 10 digs and Sarah Angelo had 27 assits as Drummond moved to 9-0 in confernce and 13-1 overall.
