Denver "Denny" Black

| September 30, 2010 2:31 PM

Denny Black was a man on the go. He couldn’t ever just do one thing.  If he wasn’t snowmobiling off cliffs, then he was jumping off bridges with a rope around his ankle.

He was everyone’s friend, kissing their babies and fixing their fences, which earned him the name of Mayor Black in some circles. He would give the shirt off his back for a friend as well as for strangers.

He loved his family and friends and they cherished him. He will be missed by many. There wasn’t a better friend, husband, father, son, brother or man than Denny Black. He loved life to the fullest and cherished every moment.

Denny was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on August 19, 1975 to Deb and Denver Black. His best friend was his brother Dustin, who joined him in life and death. He married Lisa Black and blessed her with a more adventurous life and two children (Abigail, 7 and Riley 10) who mirrored not only his image, but his love for adventure.

He will be missed by all.
