4/10/2011

2:02 a.m. - A reporting party said an unknown male in a grey pickup truck came to his door and acted like he knew the caller.  The unknown male said he was Santa Claus.

1:39 p.m. - A reporting party advised that his 13 year old daughter has been missing since Friday when she went to a casting party after a play at the Paradise School.  The caller said he had attempted to contact friends to see if anyone has seen her.

4:27 p.m. - A reporting party advised that her 22 year old daughter called her in Portland and stating that her grandparents will not let her leave with her own 3 month old child.  The father of the baby also did not want the mother to leave with the child.

7:43 p.m. - A report of two young males riding a bike and pulling the other on a skateboard.  The reporting party said that cars had to slow down around the boys.

8:15 p.m. - A reporting party advised that a young man was walking west on Highway 200.  The caller stopped to see what the problem was and the subject said his parents kicked him out of the house.

4/11/11

12:22 a.m. - Open Gate Ranch called dispatch to say that one of their students had walked away from the facility this evening.  The subject was 18 years old and she doesn’t know if he is at a residence in Thompson Falls.  The reporting party said the subject is mentall challenged and in their care.  She would like officer contact to make a decision about what to do.

9:59 a.m. - A reporting part on Lower Lynch Creek Road states there were dogs on his field nipping at his cows.  The caller recently broke his leg, so he could “not go out to chase them, and will start shooting at them now.”

7:45 p.m. - A report of cattle being on the loose on River Road West.  They got into the caller’s yard and his wife was trying to keep them away from their hot tub, and they knocked her down and injured her.  No EMS was called, but the caller was angry about the incident.

12:33 a.m. - A report of a male subject outside the Montana Bar screaming and yelling and peeking in the windows.  The bartender kicked the man out about two hours ago and wanted him removed off the property.

10:42 p.m. - A reporting party called in a chimney fire on Clayton Street.

4/13/11

9:41 a.m. - A reporting party on Baxter Road stated that a male living in a nearby motor home has eight dogs that run in a pack, chasing livestock in the area.  The caller said he will start shooting the dogs if they aren’t taken care of properly.

4/14/11

3:07 p.m. - A reporting party advised that he was scammed during a business venture from a subject that lives in the Thompson Falls area.  He stated that this case involved the import/export of scrap metals.

4/15/11

7:28 a.m. - A reporting party on River Road West stated that he found a dead deer on the road about two miles past the fairgrounds.  A car bumper and license plate were also found by the deer.

9:53 a.m. - A report of a vehicle sliding into trees and a ditch near Swamp Creek and River Road West.  No one was around the vehicle, but called into dispatch that a female stated she was on her way to school and lost control of the vehicle.

11:25 a.m. - A reporting party on Lynch Creek Estates said he could hear gun shots at his neighbor’s residence and could see three people outside, but was unsure if those people had guns.  The man called a neighbor and heard that someone was shooting pigeons in a barn.

4:07 p.m. - A reporting party stated he saw a child on a dirt bike chasing deer near Baldy View.

7:39 p.m. - A report of theft of medications and marijuana from a residence on Deemer Ridge Road.  The party went to take their evening medications after being gone all day at the hospital and found 13 of his oxycotin and all of his marijuana gone. The drugs had been in a dresser drawer in his bedroom.

10:29 p.m. - A report of a neighbor stopping outside a residence on Howser Road and firing a gun.  It is an ongoing issue, and last week they shot at the caller’s dogs.  The caller requested officer contact.

4/16/11

12:43 a.m. - A report of a fight at the Wild Coyote Bar was called in to dispatch.  One individual was known to owners and was from South Carolina and has thrown a beer bottle through the window at the bar.

10:15 a.m. - A report of a dog on the rocks in the river was called in to dispatch.  The caller was concerned that the dog was stuck on a cliff and could not get off.  The dog later was not seen on the rocks.

12:21 p.m. - A reporting party said a female who broke a glass and was trying to eat it and then took a piece to try to slit her wrists and arms with it.  She had locked herself in the bathroom; officer contact was requested.
