4/17/11

7:48 a.m. - A reporting party stated he rolled his vehicle about four miles up Pats Knob Road while he was out bear hunting.  The vehicle was reportedly 12 feet down the embankment.

12:18 p.m. - A reporting party states she was getting gas at the Quick Stop on 3rd Ave. N. and a male came up and took pictures of her kids in the car.  She tried to confront the man but he sped off in his car.

5:39 p.m. - A reporting party stated her son was waling on the bridge and two dogs came running up to him.  He was sacred and grabbed a stick and threw it, but the dogs would not leave him alone so he threw a rock.  The dogs ran down to the creek but a man pulled up in a grey vehicle, asking if he threw a rock at his dog.  The boy said no, and the man started to threaten him.

 4/18/11

8:21 p.m. - A reporting party received a random call from a small child who said that her mom went to the store and did not come back.  A welfare check at Tyler Road was required.

10: 30 p.m. - A reporting party called in an attic fire on West Road in Hot Springs.  When it was called in a barn was allegedly engulfed in flames.

4/20/11

9:22 a.m. - A report of a chimney fire came in oh Thompson River Road.  The caller stated that flames were coming out of the chimney and the fire department was called to the scene.

6:36 p.m. - A report of teenage boys fighting at the pool park in Plains was called in.   Officer contact was made and the boys said they were just playing around.

4/21/11

8:57 p.m. - A caller said when he was driving on I-90 near mile marker 30, near St. Regis, he could see a lot of smoke on a mountain.  Dispatch explained it is most likely from controlled burning season.

4/22/11

11:58 a.m. - A reporting party advised dispatch that the adjacent property on Clay Lane has a horse that is very skinny and emaciated, with no clear sign of persistent feeding or watering.  He advised that the horse’s hooves also need a trim.

6:06 p.m. - A reporting party advised that a bighorn sheep near a trail on Highway 200 is injured after hitting it with her vehicle.

11:55 p.m. - A reporting party advised of a vehicle rollover on Pats Knob Road.  One person in the car had a head injury, and was uncertain of their location.  An ambulance and wrecker tow truck was called to the scene

4/23/11

10:50 a.m. - Lake County dispatch received a call to respond to a welfare check on a mentally handicapped woman in Hot Springs.  Dispatch advised that tribal police were involved with a dispute about guardianship with the woman’s sister.

7:10 p.m. - The report of a power line knocked down with a chain saw created a small fire near Last Chance Gulch in Plains.
