LifeFlight called in for accident near Hot Springs

Scanner traffic indicated a major accident occurred late yesterday evening on Montana highway 28 between Plains and Hot Springs in which two people were transported via helicopter to Clark Fork Valley Hospital.

According to scanner traffic, three people were involved in a two-vehicle accident. Two were transported to Clark Fork Valley Hospital by helicopter ambulance. It is unclear what caused the accident; however, one man refused a blood test, according to scanner traffic. He was taken by authorities to Sanders County jail in Thompson Falls, according to scanner traffic.
