With all the gifts unwrapped and the New Year’s holiday celebration behind us, it’s time for the Christmas decorations to once again be put away into storage until it is once again time for them to come out.

And while most people will have their favorite gifts to remember from this year, two St. Regis students are going to have one huge stocking to remember.

Tiana Goatley and Quincy Mechan took home two stockings that were well over three feet tall and stuffed with lots of toys that any girl or boy would enjoy.

The stockings were the prize for a drawing that students at St. Regis schools were entered into for displaying good behavior and random acts of kindness throughout the time the contest started and the time the contest ended. Known as the “World’s Largest Christmas Stockings,” the stockings are definitely larger than the average stocking that you are used to seeing at Christmas. The toys packed inside the stocking are also the hottest toys and games from the year. With an image of Santa on top holding the stocking, they certainly draw attention.

The holiday stockings for the drawing this year were donated by Geri Lincoln and Ken Jasper.
