Sanders County Sheriff Report
2/27/11 11:30 a.m. – A reporting party advised that two black labs on Estate Rd. has been in his shop and yard and urinated etc. on his property. He has filed the same complaint in the past.
2/27/11 11:50 a.m. – A reporting party called in a vehicle roll over accident on Highway 200, unknown what the injuries were, and no road blockage at the time of the accident. Two ambulances were called and parties were transported to St. John’s in Libby.
2/28/11 3:13 p.m. – A reporting party on 4th Ave. stated she did not want her husband to return to the home after work. She stated he had made several threats and she was afraid for her personal safety, and would like officer contact.
3/1/11 5:49 a.m. – A power line was down at Preston and Wood St. A tree was also partially blocking Harlow Rd.
3/2/11 1:25 a.m. – A reporting party on 1st Ave. N. advised that a male was lying in the snow between her house and the post office. His medical condition was unknown; an ambulance was called but was given a ride home later from the hospital.
3/2/11 7:02 p.m. – There were approximately six black and white cows on Dry Creek Rd. near Highway 200, and were also in a driveway by Dykstra’s residence.
3/2/11 10:23 p.m. – An unknown mail was in a bar fight with four people involved and need medical attention. An ambulance was called from Thompson Falls.
3/2/11 10:51 p.m. – A reporting party advised that their 11 year-old daughter was crying called from her mom’s residence in Thompson Falls. An officer responded and problems were resolved.
3/3/11 4:48 p.m. – A reporting party from Blue Slide Rd. advised that his elderly father had wandered off and she followed his footprints to the main road. Apparently the man had hitch hiked into Thompson Falls in the past and has dementia issues.
3/3/11 8:22 p.m. – A reporting party near Old Jail Rd. called with the possibility of a gun shot in the vicinity near the old jail and Doug’s Drug.
3/4/11 6:13 a.m. – A reporting party on Hill St. states she had been getting unknown phone calls on her home phone for the last hour, and as dispatch was talking to her, she had the same calls on her cell phone.
3/4/11 9:57 p.m. – A reporting party advised that there were people on her property attempting to break in to her home. She said that it had also happened a couple of day s ago, and stated that her dog alerted her, and when she checked outside and they ran off.
3/5/11 2:45 p.m. - A report of a dog bit on Helterline Lane in Plains, was called in to officers. The bite did not break the skin, but the caller wanted officer contact about the dog.
