Michael Anthony Besancon: March 14, 1962 – February 23, 2011

Mike was born on March 14, 1962 in Odessa, WA. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1980.

Mike married the love of his life Shelly Stevens on May 18, 1996, in DeBorgia.  They had two beautiful children Michaela Ann Besancon (13 years) and Steven Gene Besancon (10 years).

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Irene Voise and his brother-in-law Calvin Stevens.

He leaves behind his wife Shelly, his two children Michaela and Steven, and his loving parents Archie and Shirley Besancon, sister Gena (Ron) Slagg, His wife’s family and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He loved to go camping and boating with his family and relax in his hot tub.  He was our original “Camper Dan.” He would set up a campsite that was like a Hilton in the wild.  He was well known for his ability to build or fix anything and often said,  “The only thing I can’t weld is the crack of dawn and a broken heart.”

Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm, March 26th, at the DeBorgia community schoolhouse.

A Potluck will follow the memorial. Everyone is welcome to come share their stories about Michael B.
