“Art on the Walls”
The Plains and Sanders County Arts Council opens the spring show of “Art on the Walls” with a community reception Friday, April 1, 20ll from 5-6:30. The show continues through June 29. Sixty-five pieces of original art by these Sanders County artists are featured: Charlotte Beaudry, Scot Boundy, Ma Brown Robbins, Virginia Fortner, Andrew Gonzalez, Rachel Gonzalez, Michele Hayder, Sue Honts Mann, Philip Reeb, Doreen Stokes, Karen Thorson, Douglas Wilks, and Betty Young. The Plains Volunteer Fire Department
The department is holding its third annual Fireman’s Ball on April 2 and the Plains V.F.W. Hall from 5-7:30 p.m. Dancing will be from 9 p.m. -1:30 a.m. There will be a social hour, dining and a raffle/auction. Donations will be taken at the door. For more information call 826-4724 or 827-2337.
“Alice and Wonderland” The production will be put on by the Plains/Paradise Players, a local theater group in early April. The shows will be on April 7 and 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Paradise School gym. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Contact Ruth Winkler at the Paradise School.
