Court ordered federal election recount to take place Friday

SUPERIOR - On the 3rd day of December a Verified Application for manual Recount for the 2012 Federal General Election was filed in the Montana Eleventh Judicial District Court, Flathead County, for the office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction by Sandra "Sandy" Welch.

A recount of said contest is scheduled for Friday, December 14th, 2012. Said recount will take place at the Mineral County courthouse in the Commissioner’s meeting room.

Seals will be broken and sorting of ballots will begin at 8:30 am with the counting to begin at approximately 10:00 am. Canvassing of recount results will take place immediately following completion of the recount.
