Dixon
Still no snow in Dixon on last Friday, but I hear it’s all around. This has been an amazing fall! Remember our center Christmas party this Thursday after lunch. We will have a silent auction of Christmas goodies available,( donations are welcome). Please join in the fun gift exchange--just bring a wrapped gift labeled for a man, woman, or either, and see what YOU go home with. We will begin right after lunch--about 1 p.m. Invite a friend and enjoy the afternoon.
At the center is the “Tree of Hearts” with the gender and age of children in Sanders County who would appreciate a gift for Christmas. You may choose one when the center is open--mornings from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Thursday at noon and Monday at five. Just provide a wrapped gift with your chosen heart attached, and return to the center. Also available are forms to submit to Sanders County Sheriff’s Office Christmas Relief if you or someone you know in our country could use help with a Christmas food basket. These need to be submitted by Dec. 19.
Please note the turkey dinner has been moved to the date of the Christmas party--Dec. 13. Meals for the rest of the year will be:
Thurs. Dec. 13 Turkey dinner
Mon. Dec. 17 Chicken pot pie
Thurs. Dec/ 20 Stuffed tortillas
No Dinner on Dec. 24, Christmas Eve

Mon. Dec. 31 Pizza--Supreme
Meals are served at noon on Thursdays and at five o’clock on Mondays. All ages are welcome. The best deal in town, and only $4. Take some home and share with a friend.
The traveling pinochle players will meet at our center on Dec. 17 at 1:30 this month. The latest scores are Bob Watson, high scorer. Lowest was Ray Salomon. Darlene Salomon had the most pinochles, and Peggy Johnson won the door prize.
