Sanders County Sheriff’s Report for 12/2 – 12/8

Ambulance:

December 3 at 9:36 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises of an 82 year-old female who cannot get up and is very shaky. Party is concerned she will fall if she tries to get up on her own. Paged Noxon Ambulance. Received a call from a medical alert company stating the female has fallen out of bed and needs help. No transport.

December 4 at 2:59 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of a 62 year-old female with a possible appendix burst. Advises Mission Ambulance.

December 4 at 4:14 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of an adult female with difficulty breathing and a history of heart problems. First page Thompson Falls Ambulance.

December 6 at 12:02 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises they are having a heart attack. Paged Plains ambulance.

December 6 at 5:45 p.m. at an undisclosed location. 13 year-old son reported his 41 year-old mom was having chest pains and is nauseas. Paged Noxon ambulance.

December 7 at 3:46 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises that a 68 year-old male is shaking uncontrollably, no history of heart issues. Paged Thompson Falls ambulance.

December 7 at 2:40 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises that father has collapsed in the backyard and currently has slurred speech. Paged Plains ambulance.

December 8 at 3:21 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party, a 23 year-old female experiencing head pain. Paged Mission Ambulance.

Animal:

December 3 at 12:16 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of a black lab, English Sheppard mix dog being stolen from the yard while they were visiting family in Trout Creek. Reporting party heard a car door, squealing tires and the dog was gone.

December 4 at 1:10 a.m. on Highway 200. Reporting party advises over radio that a donkey is out on the highway.

December 4 at 7:39 a.m. at Highway 200 approximately mile marker 62. Reporting party advises they struck a calf elk. No damage to the vehicle and party will make certain the animal is off the roadway. Animal is salvageable, attempted to find a food bank with no luck.

December 5 at 6:14 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises of cattle alongside the road in the curves. Owner advises they will take care of it.

December 6 at 5:08 p.m. at Main Street. Report of deer hit and injured by the propane station. Deer is in the middle of the road flopping around and vehicle is not on scene. Meat given to a food bank.

Arrests Made:

December 3 at 9:51 a.m. Warrant - FTPC, FTFCO, FTA.

December 5 at 9:11 p.m. Possession of dangerous drugs.

December 8 at 10:39 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Driving suspended/revoked.

December 8 at 6:15 p.m. near Noxon Rapid Dam.. DUI – drugs or alcohol. Reporting party states a white SUV went off the road – non-injury, non-blockage. Male who went to check on driver could smell alcohol on his breath and subject was very upset law enforcement was called. Reporting party states the vehicle will not get out of the ditch on its own.  

Fire:

December 3 at 3:26 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of a chimney fire. First page Thompson Falls City Fire. Deputy on scene, the owner is unaware and no flames at this time.

December 5 at 6:12 a.m. on Klakken Road. Reporting party advises wind blew down a power line and created a small fire in the brush. Paged Noxon Fire; another report of a fire on the road in the trees due to the downed power line.

December 7 at 10:55 p.m. at an unknown location. Reporting party advises of a chimney fire in the Carrage house behind the garage. First page Thompson Falls fire Department.

Miscellaneous:

December 2 at 8:31 p.m. at Highway 200, White Fish Credit Union. Reporting party states his vehicle was hit with a rock while driving by the credit union.

December 2 at 9:23 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party states she would like to speak to an officer in regards to something that happened at her residence earlier.

December 3 at 2:43 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises he has a friend over and several of them heard a noise. Party noticed the shed door is open and he advises he can no lock it but wind shouldn’t have been able to blow it open. Advises reporting party will get an officer out in the morning and check it out. A second call was received advising that she will sue if something is missing from her shed. Advises her someone will drive by the location.

December 3 at 12:06 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of husband leaving home to check the mail in Noxon after he left the reporting party found the checkbook gone. He is under mental health and off meds and reporting party is afraid he is running. Advises officer, will make contact.

December 3 at 1:05 p.m. at undisclosed location. Report of a 20 year-old trying to get their 14 year-old daughter into a vehicle with him. Advises deputy, will make contact.

December 3 at 6:13 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Criminal trespass to property. Reporting party states someone broke into his shed.

December 3 at 6:59 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party states her friend face booked her and asked her to call the police and tell them her boyfriend will not let her leave her residence and is highly intoxicated.

December 3 at 7:47 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party states that one of the tenants in a trailer said someone walked the length of her trailer and was running something along the whole trailer.

December 4 at 9:56 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party states he sees a suspicious male outside of the residence across the street. Advised deputy.

December 4 at 10:15 a.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of an abandoned vehicle that has been there for almost two weeks. Called the owner of the vehicle several times but the number was busy. Vehicle owner advises it will be moved in the morning.

December 4 at 2:16 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party states a male is camped out on his neighbor’s driveway that lives in Arizona for the winter. Wants a deputy to check it out. The male has been there for four days.

December 4 at5 2:24 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Criminal trespass to property. Reporting party states she is at her aunt’s residence and was told by her aunt that someone is at the residence that is not supposed to be there. She would like them to be removed.

December 4 at 3:05 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Criminal mischief- reporting party states someone threw a rock into his window at his residence.

December 4 at 4:10 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Theft – report of an ex-roommate coming into the house and stealing Xbox games.

December 5 at 3:04 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Principle advises a suicidal 14 year-old and requests officer intervention. Student is currently in class but will be out of school at 3:30. Principle advises that attempts to reach parents have failed at this time.

December 5 at 6:18 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises had an argument a few days ago and the subject keeps texting/harassing. Reporting party advises they were letting it go until earlier today when the two male subjects came over to party’s house and barged in without knocking or being invited in. Subjects were threatening reporting party. Advises reporting party an officer will come by once one is available. Report taken, no crime involved.

December 6 at 6:05 a.m. at Highway 200. Reporting party advises they were traveling eastbound when a westbound train wouldn’t dim the engine light for him.

Traffic:

December 2 at 7:34 a.m. at Highway 135 approximately mile marker 16. Reporting party advises of rocks on the highway. Advises Department of Transportation.

December 6 at 8:09 p.m. at Highway 200 approximately between mile marker 13 and 14. Non-injury traffic accident – female slid into a guardrail, with some blockage. First page Noxon ambulance/fire.

December 7 at 6:10 a.m. at Highway 200 between mile marker 100 and 101. Reporting party advises a report of a vehicle with a flat on highway. Advises MHP.

December 7 at 9:35 a.m. at Upper Lynch and Lovers Lane.. Reporting party advises that a vehicle pulled out in front of her daughter at the intersection. No injuries, no blockage, no wrecker needed. Advises MHP.

December 7 at 5:20 p.m. at a  undisclosed location. Reporting party advises of a tree leaning into northbound lane. Advises Kalispell, no further action taken.

December 7 at 6:42 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises of a one-vehicle accident – unknown injury, non-blockage. Paged Trout Creek Rural Fire Department/Noxon Ambulance.  Advises MHP that the male in the crash made suicidal threats through email and phone, which was reported to Spokane Police Department. Reporting party states he is bipolar and has all medications with him. She last heard from him at 6:45 p.m. through email claiming he wanted to end his life.

December 7 at 8:19 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party advises of a vehicle that slide into a ditch – non-blockage, unknown injury. Reporting party advises it just happened. Advises MHP.
