On December 9th 2012 Thompson Falls Volunteer Ambulance Co. conducted a winter driving training course at the Thompson Falls High School in the main parking lot. Robert Cirolia the driving instructor gave an over view of the course to the members and told them what obstacles to look for. The parking lot was covered in ice so it was ideal for winter training. The ice made it just that much more of a challenge to conduct quick stops and turns.

The training was being conducted to get members ready for the winter weather. It also helps to get them familiar with our new ambulance and how it handles on the ice. This is a good way to keep all our members up on their driving skills and to better perform our duties while serving our community.
