Annual community Christmas program searching for local talent
SUPERIOR - The Annual Community Christmas Program will be Monday, Dec. 3rd at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Superior.
The Superior United Methodist Church has been sponsoring this annual event for many years, reports Nancy Garcia, coordinator. For several years, due to increase in attendance and participation, the program has alternated between St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the LDS Church.
Each year the attendance has increased as more people find this evening of Christmas music an excellent way for the community to come together and begin the Advent Season.
Nancy is looking for individuals or groups, who would like to participate in this Christmas program by sharing their talents. The Community Choir is already practicing. The days are slipping by quickly, so please consider being a part of this very special event. Those wishing more information or who would like to be a part of the program, please contact Nancy Garcia at 822-4570 by Thursday, Nov. 30.
There is no admission; however the Hospital Guild will be taking donations for the Food Bank. Either packaged food items or monetary will be appreciated. After all, it IS the season to give and help others.
