Connie L. Waldmeier

Connie L. Waldmeier, 64, of Girard, IL passed away Tuesday evening, August 28, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. She was born on Dec. 23, 1947, a daughter of Jacob and Maxine Wilson Copple Sr. in Litchfield, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Leonard Montgomery and Calvin Waldmeier.

She worked as a CNA in Washington and at Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains for several years.

Surviving are a daughter, Loredia Smith (husband, Karsten) of Arlee, granddaughters Emilly Montgomery, Kandice Smith, and a grandson Tyler Smith; a son, Steve Montgomery of Plains; two brothers, Jacob L. Copple (wife, Joy) of Standard City, IL, David Cotthorp (wife, Cindy) of Port Angeles, WA; three sisters, Diana Schwerdner (husband, Carl) of Carlinville, Sharon Pocklington (husband, Joe) of Standard City, IL and Monica Lamar, ND; a step-mother, Joanne Statsman of Standard City, IL; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

A memorial service/pot-luck will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 29 from 1-3 p.m.
