Virginia J. Tattum

PLAINS - Virginia Josephine Tattum died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 of natural causes at Cherry Hills Assisted Living. She was 92 years of age, born in Fort Worth, IN in 1919. She was married to Oswald J. Tattum on August 28, 1940 in Homewood IL. Virginia was a devoted wife and mother to three children, Dennis, Sharon and Steve.

Virginia’s passion in life was God, Family and friends. Her storytelling was enjoyed by all, especially her adoring grandchildren. She was a beautiful healthy woman throughout her life which can be attibuted to her love for dancing and committment to daily exercise. Her leisure time was comsumed with reading or playing her favorite game rummy que.

She is survived by two sons, Denny Tattum of Green Bay, Steve Tattum of San Francisco, and one daughter, Sharon of Plains; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A wake will be held Friday, September 7th at 6 pm at the St. James Catholic Church in Plains, MT. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11 am.  Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Hills Funeral Homes.
