ST. REGIS - In what St. Regis head Coach Damian Droessler called a "tough game" on the road against Lima Saturday, the Tiger football squad fought hard and played their best offensive football of the season.

Coach Droessler has engrained one thing in the minds of his athletes – get better every day. It was clear from the performance of St. Regis that they did just that.

"Our guys played their hearts out," Coach Droessler said. "I was extremely impressed with the execution and effort our team showed."

One of the biggest stand-outs for Coach Droessler was the St. Regis kicking team, which converted on all three of their point after attempts. Several individuals were also commended. "Dakota Wickham and Shad Rich both scored two touchdowns, while Andrew Managhan completed two long scoring passes."

The passes by Managhan were huge, 70 and 50 yards respectively, and the Tigers offense was on a roll. However Coach Droessler said that there is still room for improvement.

"We are nowhere near where we want to be," Coach Droessler said. "But a lot closer than we were the week before, and that is a tribute to the hard work our kids continue to put in everyday."

The surging offense of St. Regis was not enough to hold off Lima and the Tigers lost 66-31.

St. Regis will face West Yellowstone on Friday at 7 pm.

"I hope to see heavy support for our kids this week," Coach Droessler said. "It’s the final game for seniors Shad Rich and Patrick Espanola."
