Sanders County Sheriff's Report Aug.18-24
Excerpts from the Sanders County sheriff’s report 8/18 to 8/24.
Arrests made:
August 18 at 3:28 p.m. at the Valley Bank Parking Lot. Advises that two vehicles were flying around the backside of town and now they are stopped at the Valley Bank and there appears to be a fight about to start.
Miscellaneous:
August 18 at 11:15 a.m. at Selow Creek Road and Priddy Lane. Reporting party advises of a two-year-old male in a diaper wandering around on Selow Creek Road heading towards the highway.
August 18 at 1:01 p.m. at East Railroad. Reporting party requests officer for a hitchhiker out in front of her residence that has been there for at least half an hour smoking and flicking ashes on the ground and urinating in her yard.
August 18 at 2:18 p.m. at Vermillion Bay. Reporting party advises that while he was in his boat (with witnesses) they passed by a man in a houseboat at the campsite. Reporting party advises the male first flipped the reporting party off, yelling, then went inside the houseboat and exited with a gun, threatening the reporting party.
August 19 at 1:25 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of people launching homemade hot air balloons behind Sinclair station. Two have failed and may be on the P-hill.
August 21 at 1:26 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Report of a possible drug shipment at a residence behind Dixon.
August 21 at 3:50 p.m. at Pename Street. Report of a break in two or three days ago.
August 21 at 5:43 p.m. at Blue Slide Road. Reporting party advises that caretaker of her property came over to the residence and was verbally aggressive during an eviction notice. Reporting party advises that the caretaker put hands on her husband but did not push or strike him.
August 22 at 12:56 p.m. at River Road. Report of three boys jumping off the bridge between the ages of 10 and 12.
August 22 at 8:29 p.m. at North Road. Reporting party advises of three juvenile males riding their bikes onto her lawn and destroying her plants, shrubs, and causing various other damage.
August 22 at 10:57 p.m. at Cougar Peak Road. Reporting party advises that a vehicle with four males and one female shot a rifle on her property.
August 23 at 5:25 p.m. at Pats Knob Road. Reporting party advises that her husband called earlier and that the reporting party is requesting a deputy for their 13 year-old grandson who is extremely addicted to Xbox and blew up today when he was supposed to go sign up for school. Reporting party requests a civil standby to remove the Xbox from the juvenile.
August 23 at 8:01 p.m. at an undisclosed location. Reporting party requests a deputy because their neighbor is brandishing guns and threatening to shoot their dog. Reporting party advises male sprayed her brother with bear spray.
Theft:
August 18 at 1:50 p.m. at Town Pump. Reporting party advises that his ex stole a check from him and tried cashing it at the town pump. Reporting party advises cashier caught it and advises reporting party and reporting party’s mother.
