St. Regis Lady Tigers claim victory and defeat

ST. REGIS – The St. Regis Lady Tigers took one victory and one defeat in their games against the Lincoln Lady Lynx and the Charlo Lady Vikings.

St. Regis took a win against Lincoln with a final score of 61 to 36. The Lady Tigers dominated the court and outscored the Lady Lynx in three of the four quarters.

Sophomore Pilar Cantrell-Field had a great game and scored 23 points to claim the title of the game’s highest scorer for both teams. Freshman Madison Hill came in second with 16 points scored with senior Arianna Jones close behind with 15.

Junior Gabby Moeller scored the final seven points and took six rebounds. Hill and Jones both had several steals and assists as well.

In the game against Charlo, the Lady Tigers saw a final score of 43-39 to the Vikings. The game was very close with only a few points difference either way in each quarter.

Cantrell-Field continued to shine with 20 points scored to maintain her position as the highest scorer. Jones was not far behind with 11 points scored. The remainder of the points was divided up between Hill, Moeller and freshman Courtney Cheesman.

Head Coach Tyler Hurley could not be reached for comment and further information on the games was unavailable at the time of press.
