Deanie French

| February 6, 2013 2:51 PM

Deanie French is absent from her body and therefore is present with her friend, Savior and God; Jesus Christ. Tuesday evening January 29, 2013 Virginia Dean French made a confident and peaceful journey into Heaven, as her family held her hand.

Born August 9, 1929 in Missoula , “Deanie” was the only child of Charles and Clara (Parent) Bowser. She led a fun filled life growing up the daughter of a merchant in the dynamic railroad days of Paradise .

She attended grade school in Paradise , where her memorial service will be held, Saturday 2/9 at noon, followed by food and fellowship. Pleae come with your Deanie stories!

She attended high school in Plains where she met Robert (died 2009), the son of Ortha and Perry French. Together they raised five boys Jamie (Lisa Kelly) of Paradise, Curtis (Sandi Mitchell) of Great Falls , Burl (Deborah Hellickson) of Kalispell, Timothy of Plains, and Mark (Katy Carrell) of Paradise .

She valued her familial roles more than anything. Mom was always available to her children, while Dad was working long hours in the woods. They were a great team, working with both sets of grandparents growing a solid extended family unit. Mom shared this family treasure with multiple children as we routinely had borrowed kids in the home.

Deanie and Bob were involved with their community building their church, serving on school boards, promoting student athletes and helping build the gym where her final service will be held.

Mom lead Sunday school, youth group and was a mentor to many as their bus driver. She always welcomed whoever showed up for dinner.

Ladies Circle, Bowling, Tops, Red Hat and bunko filled her social life with her lady friends. She loved the church gatherings, especially the music, and her enthusiasm for the word of God was very contagious. She was always on the go, practicing what she preached. The family welcomes your love as we grieve.
