Both Noxon teams end season

NOXON – The Red Devils have been heating up the competition, securing win after win and moving closer to advancing in the Divisional tournament this week.

On Thursday, Noxon improved 14 to 5 after beating Two Eagle River 68 to 46. Austin Tucker came in with the most points, leading the Red Devils with 17. Oliver Grupenhoff netted 14 points, Neal Jopling shouldered 11 points and Brandon Piazzola threw in another ten. Brad Fitchett had six points, Tyler Piazzola with five, Tanner Tammaro with three and Zach Osborne netted two.

The Red Devils then played Seeley-Swan on Monday night. Both teams were ranked third and as the teams battled it out to see who would come out on top, Noxon fell behind by two points.

Grupemhoff had 16 points while Tucker came in with 15. Jopling had 11 while Tyler Piazzola, Brandon Piazzola and Tammaro had two.

The Red Devils came to their seasons end during the game against Seeley-Swan.

As for the Lady Devils, they battled in hopes of a win, facing off with another county team, the Savage Heat. In a very close game, Noxon came up short by just one point, dropping the girls down to 5 – 14.

Kendall Aitken led the ladies with eight points, Tierrah Camara chipped in seven points and McKenna Krueger basketed five. Shelby Clark and Brooke Smithborne each brought in four points with Casey Chenoweth netting two.
