Dixon

It was so nice to be back at the center, after two weeks plus, of a bad cold. The day was lovely--bright sunshine, in the 40’s, and we had a happy group of lunch visitors. We sang a rousing “Happy Birthday” to long-time resident, Jerry Hamel (he said he forgot!), and we had a bunch of eager-eaters from Dixon School to celebrate their being on the Honor Roll last quarter. They were accompanied by staff members, Amy Elliott and Dave Herrie Rick and Judy Penfield also enjoyed lunch, on their way to their Perma home, just down the highway.

Menus coming up will be:

Thurs. Jan. 31 Brunch--Oven French Toast & trimmings

Mon. Feb. 4 Salisbury Steak

Thurs. Feb. 7 Polish Sausage

Mon. Feb. 11 Chicken Enchiladas

Thurs..Feb. 13 Roast Beef (Valentine’s Day)

Remember, you can take an extra dinner home, or surprise a neighbor with a cooked meal. All ages are invited to join us! Meals are served on Mondays at 5 o’clock, and at noon on Thursdays.
