Evert Miller Behmerwohld

Evert Miller Behmerwohld, born in Dilo, Montana on May 2, 1928 to Hones and Bertha (Hughes) Behmerwohld died July 14, 2013 at his home in Hot Springs, Montana. Evert wed the love of his life, Bettie McKinney on November 22, 1949. They were married for almost 50 years. He leaves behind three daughters, Linda and Jerry Reilly, Lola and Jim Mascorella and Leta Behmerwohld and Frank Owens, eight grandchildren, Chad and Sheri Reilly, Derek Mascorella, Aime’e Hanley, Brett and Jana Reilly, Layla and Gene Riffle, Ryan and Kerry Hanley, Lindsay Engel and Lacey Engel. He also leaves nine great grandsons, Logan Reilly, Dillon Riffle, Darian Reilly, Will Reilly, Easton Hanley, Justin Riffle, Evan Reilly, Ripken Hanley and Kamden Hanley. He is survived by three brothers, Harry Behmerwohld, Walt and Donna Behmerwohld and Manford and Marvel Tempero. He was preceded in death by his wife Bettie in 1999 and their youngest daughter Lana in 1995.

A Celebration of Life and potluck will be held on July 26th at 12:30 p.m. at the Lonepine Hall. Burial will be July 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Heron Cemetery.

Evert will long be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, friend, a great listener and good story teller.

He was one hell of a man and will be missed by everyone who crossed his trail.
