Margaret Morgan

Margaret Morgan, age 86 and longtime resident of Hot Springs, Montana passed peacefully away on June 12, 2013 with family by her side.

Margaret was born on April 2, 1927 to Urbert and Helen Campbell. She was adopted at age 6 by Grover and Katherine Mobley of Rigby, Idaho. Margaret met and married Kenneth Wayne Morgan there. She and Wayne moved to Hot Springs Montana in 1956 after purchasing a local apiary business. This became the Morgan Honey Farm. Together they raised six children in Hot Springs.

Margaret enjoyed helping the business grow. She also loved working outdoors in her yard and garden. She is remembered by her family as a loving mother and confidant. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were dear to her heart. She always had a shoulder to lean on, cry on or whatever was needed. Always encouraging and gently guiding. Mom, Grammy, Grandma, Great-Grandma – we will always remember you with much, much love.

Margaret was preceded in death by her 8 siblings, parents, husband Wayne Morgan, a son Robert Morgan and granddaughter Lisa (Morgan) Dougherty-Hassler.

She is survived by daughters, Ann (Lucky) Howser of Hot Springs, MT, Kathryn Sweeney of Missoula, MT, Janine Jaques of Kalispell, MT, Becky Steinebach (Keith) of Plains, MT, and son Kenneth Morgan of Lewiston, ID.

Margaret was blessed with grandchildren: Tammy (Chris) Churello, Paula (Nathan) Robison, Holly (Rebel) Carr, Jennifer (Dean) French, Amy (Cliff) Kennedy, Craig (Tiffany) Sweeney, Cole Sweeney, Chris Sweeney, Melissa (Jim) Evans, KP Morgan, Tiffany (Bryant) Williamson, Christina Sanders, Kasey (Kelly) Jaques, Jaimie (Josh) Lee, Ben (Yenta) Jaques, Aaron (Julie) Jaques, Chelsey (Charles) Adams, 30 great-grandchildren as well as two great-great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends for a graveside service will be held on Monday, July 1st at 11 a.m. at the Lonepine Cemetery in Lonepine, MT.
