Car crashes at Perma curves
Plains-Paradise Rural Fire Department mutual aided the Plains Community Ambulance service that responded to a call regarding a single car accident about 10 miles east of Paradise on Highway 200. The accident, involving a silver colored four-door Ford Focus, occurred around 4 p.m. on Friday in the area known as the perma curves.
According to Plains-Paradise firefighter, Marlin Cooper, based on an onsite determination, the car overcorrected during a turn, crossed the highway and ran off the road before hitting a tree. The two occupants of the vehicle were unharmed and refused transport to a hospital.
