Deanna Niles, 61

Deanna Maxine Niles, age 61, died peacefully on April 20, 2013 at Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains, Montana. Deanna was born July 24, 1951, in Billings, Montana, the daughter of Lloyd Bailey and Clarence and Juanita Swanson.

Deanna graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1970 and soon after married her childhood sweet heart Phillip Briceno Sr. Together they had twin sons, Franklin and Phillip, and their daughter, Danita. Deanna moved to Bozeman, Montana in 1982, re-married Frank Niles Sr. and had her youngest son, Frankie, in 1983. Deanna graduated from Max’s College of Cosmetology in 1989 and practiced cosmetology for 20 years in the Bozeman area. Deanna lived the past 18 years in Three Forks, Montana until recently moving to Plains to be closer to family.

Deanna is best remembered for her love of the outdoors. Camping, fishing and spending time in the mountains was her passion. She instilled her appreciation for nature in her children at an early age; summers were spent camping at Woodbine Campground and Hyalite Canyon. Her family will forever remember the yearly summer vacations to Swan and Sealy Lakes; cooking over the camp fire, boating, jet skiing, fishing and loving life.

Deanna is survived by her parents, sisters; Sonja McCarthy of Billings, Phyllis Russell of Billings and Jan Sanchez of Billings, sons; Phillip Briceno Jr. of Three Forks and Frank Niles Jr. of Plains, her daughter; Danita Grossberg of Plains, her grandchildren; Phillip Briceno III, Madison Niles, Chasen Arthur, Vincent Briceno, Daeryk Zeiger, Giovanni Grossberg, Benicio Grossberg, her great grandchildren Carmen Briceno and Kylie Briceno, several nieces and nephews, and a number of other relatives and close friends.

There will be a memorial service at 1pm on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at The Sacajawea Inn in Three Forks, Montana. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Sunset Hills Funeral Home, Box 868, Plains, Montana 59859.
