“I am proud of the team for what each and everyone did,” said Coach Havens stating the boy’s third place finish came as a pleasant surprise to him and all of the guys.

“We are right where we need to be – we have to remember what got us this far – the athletes daily hard work,” said Coach Havens stressing that from here on out it is all up to the athletes.

“They have worked extremely hard to get this far so (we’re) not quitting now. The team that will top divisionals is the team that has as many kids possible at divisionals and that place as many as possible. Anything is possible on any given day,” said Coach Havens.

Stressing how proud he was of each athlete he was able to coach this year, Coach Havens hopes that everyone learned something about themselves and the sport as a whole.

“They all need to be proud of what they have accomplished this year. I know one thing is for sure, the they have went to every meet and competed to their best ability,” said Coach Havens.
